The Inside Matters

You had just finished renovating your kitchen. But is it really “new”? People usually forget about one of the most important aspects in renovating, the inside. Just because you improved the design it doesn’t mean you improved the functionality as well.

Renovating the inside of your cabinets and drawers might sound a bit useless since no one can see it but the reality is different. Why wouldn’t you take advantage of the new tools that can help you organize better your kitchen? Just think about all that time you have to lose because you can’t find that special turkey knife, or that cutting board that seems to be disappearing every time you need it and not to mention that seasoning powder that keeps going in the back of the drawer. Now imagine all of those problems disappear. Impossible right?

Not so much. Just go and have a look to the nearest home depot and gaze at those small and cheap but practical containers to add in your drawers and help you organize them, or those wall-hanging systems that will help you hang the utensils, herbs and more on the wall, or those fitted trays or chopping boards that go over the sink and the list goes on and on. The secret here is to pay attention to the small things that make a lot of difference. I know they don’t seem to do much, but trust me, they do. Why would you buy a bigger cabinet thinking that you will be able to fit more things in there when you don’t really need one.
